BROADCAST CAREER GOALS:
I want to meet the challenges that coincide with a severe weather market by sustaining an environment of trust and commitment. In addition, publishing weather and environmental content should be delivered through multiple different mechanisms and platforms. I would like to work with a News Director who is willing to create growth by adopting a team-oriented concept where creativity should be encouraged to reach a greater market share. This concept focuses on the engagement of viewers through modern forecast delivery methods. These methods include, but are not limited to:
- A renewed out-of-the box focus on effective on-air teases that lead blocks, rather than finish them.
- Dynamic weather web publishing centered around people and community events
- Advertise LIVE on-air instant request weathercasts (Call-in or email)
- On-Demand instant weathercasts in the weather center
- Remote presentation of public weather/road condition Twittercasts
- Solicit viewers for personal testimonials of major events
- An increased emphasis on volunteer public relations and publicity appearances.
